How do you know you’re ready for a change?

Hi there. I’m Marnee Horesh. (Named after the Hitchcock movie “Marnie” but nothing like the character.)

I’m a Health Coach.

I help BUSY women with low energy improve their quality of life with simple, easy to implement, 1% shifts.

The official name for this is Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.

(But, meh, too many syllables.)

My very first client was myself.

How did I know I was ready for a change?

A few clues:

  • I had all over joint pain and could barely walk

  • I was eating a “healthy” diet, but felt like crap every time I ate

  • My doctor mentioned something about IBS, Candida, Epstein Barr Virus, parasites, “assumed” SIBO and other symptoms that overwhelmed me

  • I was taking daily naps in the office bathroom*

*YES. That’s a true story. Once I discovered this private sanctuary with a lock, I couldn’t get through the workday without my 60-minute visit. It got me through the day, but it didn’t really help with the rest of the week. I knew this wasn’t the way my forties should be feeling.

I’d been ignoring the messages my body had been sending for years.

Through my research to help myself, I started connecting the dots between the food I was putting in my mouth, the stress I was putting on my body and the impact all of that had on my health. I realized “healthy” was different, depending on the person and the body. And food could be both medicine and poison.

I put my research to work on myself and plotted out a new career path by enrolling in The Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) - the largest nutrition school in the world.

So where have I landed? Well, now, my mission is to help women who are headed towards napping in the bathroom, shift gears before it’s too late.

Do you wish you had energy for more?

I don’t mean more work. I mean more clarity at work. More success. More efficiency in life. Or more fun. More play. Or just more of what you want.

In other words: More of the stuff you’d be doing if you weren’t so f’ing tired all the time.

Healing is a matter of time, but it is sometimes also a matter of opportunity.

K. So if you’ve arrived here, I think you’re ready for some fun and random facts…

  • Many people tell me I remind them of Drew Barrymore. I never saw any resemblance until I witnessed her using my dance moves in one of her movies.

  • I’m left handed. I secretly (not so secretly) think this makes me cool.

  • I once fasted for 20 days to get rid of SIBO (Small Intestine Bacteria Overgrowth). Well, 20 days after the false start when I cheated with popcorn.

  • I’ve never broken a bone. But I almost drowned in a place called The Blue Hole in Egypt and sliced my forehead at the top of a mountain in Peru.

  • It takes a lot to get me to sing at karaoke. But once I have the mic, good luck getting it back. (And, no, I’m not winning any Grammys.)

  • When I was in elementary school, they wanted to put me in a bubble. I was allergic to everything around me, including chocolate.

  • Along with helping people improve their quality of life, I help other entrepreneurs write copy. More about that, here, if you’re curious.

Marnee was just the voice I needed to get my ass in gear and help me change my routine.

I chose to work with Marnee because I felt like a hamster on a wheel. This was having an impact on my personal health and wellness. The most tangible change since beginning her program is that I feel lighter and an empowered participant in my own life.
